This pair of shot glasses were thrown on the pottery wheel, the design was created by hand, then fired in the kiln at 2170°F.
The clay is an ivory colored ceramic stoneware with dark speckles. The glaze was applied by hand, and has run in places down the hand carved design. This glaze has turned matte and is a soft green in some areas, and melted and turned shiny with vibrant greens in other parts, creating a unique glaze effect.
