This mug was thrown on the pottery wheel, the handle was attached and the design was finished by hand, then fired in the kiln at 2170°F.
The clay is an ivory colored ceramic stoneware with dark speckles. The coral glaze was applied by hand and sits beautifully in the hand carved wheat design.
