This pair of tumblers were individually thrown on the pottery wheel, decorated with a light-colored slip and the design was carved using a sgraffito technique. They were then fired in the kiln at 2170°F.
The clay is an ivory colored ceramic stoneware, and the feather design has a light-cream color, showing it's subtle design.
