Ivory Speckle Large Pot

This large pot was thrown on the pottery wheel and the design was carefully carved by hand, then fired in the kiln at 2170°F.

The clay is an ivory colored ceramic stoneware with dark speckles, and the clear glaze was applied by hand, enhancing the natural look of the clay. 

This piece would be the perfect vase for a large bunch of flowers, or as a utensil holder.
