This espresso cup and saucer were thrown individually on the pottery wheel, the handle was attached and the pieces were finished by hand, then fired in the kiln at 2170°F.
The clay is a sandy colored ceramic stoneware with dark speckles. The glaze was applied by hand, and has significantly melted and turned metallic-looking with vibrant greens, due to the kilns temperature melting the glaze in this incredible way.
