Stormy Pitcher

This pitcher was thrown on the pottery wheel, the spout was created and the design was carved by hand, then it was fired in the kiln at 2170°F.

The clay is an ivory colored ceramic stoneware, and the glaze combination has created a stormy, thundercloud effect.
