This pair of soup bowls were individually thrown on the pottery wheel, and their designs were carved by hand, then were fired in the kiln at 2170°F.
The clay is an ivory colored ceramic stoneware, and the white glaze is contrasted by the drippy dark blue glaze on the rim and handles. The handles are perfect for carrying your warm bowl of soup from the kitchen to the table.
